Since 2004 Mazda New Zealand has been a proud partner of Project Crimson, sharing a commitment towards conserving and enhancing New Zealand's natural environment for future generations.
Project Crimson is a national not-for-profit organisation that has worked to protect Pohutukawa and Rata trees in New Zealand since 1990. In that time more than half a million trees have been planted through the Trust’s hard work.
Since the start of the partnership Mazda has supplied Project Crimson with vehicles, recently a Mazda BT-50 ute and a Mazda6 wagon, emblazoned with Pohutukawa blooms, to help them in their endeavour to protect and renew Pohutukawa and Rata around New Zealand.
Today Project Crimson is a leading conservation organisation, in 2015 receiving the annual Green Ribbon Award for protecting biodiversity, awarded by the Ministers of Conservation and Environment.
