HIROSHIMA, Japan—Mazda Motor Corporation (Mazda) will conduct demonstration runs of the Mazda 787B—the winning car of the 24 Hours of Le Mans—at Le Mans Classic 2026, one of the world’s largest historic endurance events, held at the Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans, France, from July 2 to 5, 2026.
Le Mans Classic is a popular event that brings together numerous race cars that have competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, held at the Circuit de la Sarthe, showcasing their performance. With the cooperation of Spark, a model car brand, the Mazda 787B will take part in a special parade session, performing a standalone demonstration run driven by Yojiro Terada—long associated with the 24 Hours of Le Mans— and Pierre Fillon, President of the ACO (Automobile Club de l'Ouest). Commenting on this opportunity, Mr. Fillon said: “It has long been a dream of mine to have the privilege of getting behind the wheel of this iconic car.”
