Mazda touchscreen with satellite navigation maps

To ensure you’re always getting the most recent and accurate cues from your satellite navigation system, you’ll need to download the latest New Zealand maps from Mazda.


If you’re using MZD Connect…
Map updates are usually released biannually, and as a Mazda owner, you’re entitled to three years complimentary support from MapCare.

Updates for previous models

Navshop updates

For the following Mazda models, all map updates are maintained by, and can be purchased from Navshop:

Mazda BT-50 UP (built before Sept 2015)
Mazda CX-7 (built between Sept 2009 and Dec 2011)

TomTom updates

For the following Mazda models, all map updates are maintained by, and can be purchased from TomTom:

Mazda6 GJ (built between Oct 2012 and Oct 2014)
Mazda CX-5 KE (built between Jan 2013 and Nov 2014)
CX-9 TB (Built between Oct 2012 and Dec 2015)

APPLE CARPLAY® AND ANDROID AUTO®

If your Mazda is fitted with the MZD Connect infotainment system, first introduced to the New Zealand market in early 2014, we offer an Apple CarPlay or Android Auto upgrade kit for your vehicle. If you are interested in purchasing the kit, please contact your nearest Mazda Dealership, who offer a straightforward hardware and software retrofit process.

Pair your phone

Pair your phone on a Mazda touchscreen

Before syncing your smartphone with MZD Connect or Mazda Handsfree, you’ll need to ensure your vehicle and device are fully compatible, and that Bluetooth® has been activated on both.


Alternatively, you can use the USB connector port to enjoy hands-free control over your music, contacts and phone calls while driving.
